Mental Health First Aid is the help given to a person developing a mental health problem (for example, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, psychosis or substance abuse) or in a mental health crisis (for example, a person who feels suicidal; a person who is in a distressing psychotic state; or a person experiencing a panic attack); until the person receives professional help or the crisis resolves.
Mental Health First Aid is an evidence-based and accredited training program, authored by Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Australia; and is included in the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices (NREPP). MHFA has also been endorsed for Continuing Professional Development (CDP) points, by a number of professional bodies.

We offer a flexible service, tailored to your environment, at an affordable rate. Services are based on the Central Coast, NSW although we are able to travel to other locations for an additional fee.
